Kevin Hamblin
Group Chief Executive & Executive Principal

PA: Mandy Robertson

Kevin Hamblin was appointed Group Chief Executive & Executive Principal in September 2015 having been appointed Principal and Chief Executive of South Gloucestershire and Stroud College in February 2012. Prior to this Kevin was the Principal and Chief Executive of Filton College since December 2001.

On completion of his degree, Kevin worked as commercial manager then commercial director of a private training company before becoming Head of Open Learning at Swindon College in 1997. This led to a role as Head of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering at Swindon, before becoming Vice Principal at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire in 1999.

Sara-Jane Watkins
College Principal

Sara-Jane Watkins was appointed Principal in September 2015 and is responsible for providing leadership of all functional and curriculum areas, implementing Corporation decisions, day to day management of budget and resources, plus overseeing all aspects of staff and student discipline.

With a Masters Degree in marketing from the University of the West of England and an Honours Degree in countryside management, Sara-Jane was previously Communications Director at Hartpury College, Gloucestershire. 

Emma Jarman
Vice Principal, Quality, Staff and Learner Services/Deputy CEO SGS Academy Trust

PA: Sandie Vaughan

Emma Jarman joined the College on 18 June 2013, as Vice Principal after leaving her former role as Assistant Principal Curriculum at London's largest college.

Emma is an experienced senior manager with over 22 years' experience working in, or with, the FE sector - as a teacher of creative and performing arts, curriculum & senior manager, and quality improvement consultant & trainer. Emma has also been a part-time Ofsted inspector for over a decade.

At SGS, Emma takes on senior management responsibility for Quality, Learner Services, Enrichment, Support and Human Resources. Emma is responsible for driving forward the SGS Academy Trust which is an initiative which supports schools in the Gloucestershire and West of England areas.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys music and the arts, reading and the occasional run.

Andy Slaney
Chief Operations Officer

Andy Slaney is responsible for managing IT, Estates and Procurement across the Group.

Andy is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds an Honours Degree in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University. He has worked in a large number of sectors, including: Project and Programme Management Consultancy, Nuclear Decommissioning, Hazardous Waste Management, Renewable Energy, Commercial Real Estate Investment and Management, Residential Development, Commercial Real Estate Agency, Retail Development and Management.

Judith Saunderson
Group Chief Financial Officer

PA: Lindsay Driver-Dickerson

Judith Saunderson joined the College in 2004 after leaving her role as a Senior Manager at Deloittes.

Judith is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and performance of the College, our subsidiary companies and Trusts. Judith has a Masters degree from Oxford University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Moira Foster-Fitzgerald
Chief Group Services Officer

Moira joined the College in May 2011 with over twenty years leadership experience in both HR and facilities mostly gained within private sector organisations.

Moira is responsible for developing the delivery of back-office services to the College, schools and our partners, including the development of Group-wide policies and procedures. Moira will continue to advise the College and assist in negotiations with key stakeholders.
