Application Process

Apply for a degree course at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College

This can be done via the UCAS website www.ucas.co.uk

Attend an Interview at the College

Depending on you having the correct entry requirements you will be invited to an interview. You will receive your invitation by email and a letter. In addition if you have applied on UCAS you will also be invited on UCAS.

Please keep an eye out for invitations and let us know as soon as you can if you are unable to attend. You can do this by contacting the Graduate office on 0117 9092376 or email highereducation@sgscol.ac.uk.

Confirm your place

We will let you know if you have received a conditional or unconditional offer by letter and email. Again if you have applied through UCAS you will receive your offer on UCAS also.

You will then be required to confirm your place on the course by contacting the Graduate office on 0117 9092376 or email highereducation@sgscol.ac.uk. Alternatively, you can accept your offer on UCAS.

Joining Instructions

We will send out joining instructions at the end of July. These will include details regarding induction and any relevant reading lists you may be required to read prior to the course. It will also include a brief outline of your modules and assessments.

Enrolment

The enrolment for our degree courses is provisionally set for 3rd week of September.

The joining instructions will detail all the information you will need for the day. If you have any queries prior to enrolment please do not hesitate to contact the college. We will try and answer any questions you may have.

On completion of your degree programme

Once you have completed your degree course you will be invited to an awards ceremony where you will be granted your certificates and will celebrate your achievements.

Progression

Once you have completed your two year degree course you will have a qualification which enables you to go out into your chosen industry.

However, you may choose to further your education and complete a one year ‘top up’ at an University. A one year ‘top up’ is a one year course at a University where you will have the opportunity to achieve a globally recognised BA or BSC honours degree.
