28th June 2012
All Year 10 students from Stroud schools - Archway, Maidenhill, Marling, Stroud High and Thomas Keble - are being invited to take part in a Stroud-wide Taster Day on 28 June. Around 800 students are expected to take part in the event, which is being co-ordinated by the Stroud District Partnership. The sixth forms of Marling School, Stroud High School and Archway as well as Stroud College will be opening their doors for an exciting day of taster sessions, where students can try their hand at anything from hairdressing to music to engineering to sports.
It's a great opportunity for students to try different subjects at different venues, and make an informed choice about their next step in education. Schools will be giving out more information to their students after the Easter holidays.
