Advanced Apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery Level 3

This programme is for young people who wish to work in the construction industry. You will have the chance to gain skills and qualifications required for a career in the industry. You will be employed by a local company as a carpenter and training will take place in the workplace and at college.

What do I need to join?

4 GCSEs at grades A-C preferably in Maths, English, Science and Design & Technologyand/or completed Apprenticeship in Construction

You work with your employer and will attend college for agreed block weeks throughout the year.

NVQ 3 in Heritage Skills Skilled construction worker with prospects of promotion to contracts manager or foreman

Coursework, tests, completion of portfolio and assessment in the workplace for NVQ
