Computing & Information Technology

Our computing courses will provide you with the full range of skills and knowledge in IT (both hardware and software) required to progress into employment or Higher Education sector. We offer exciting IT facilities: modern equipment and up-to-date software packages; All computers in classrooms and computer suites are networked, have internet access and operate Windows XP. 

A number of our computer suites have multimedia software allowing students to gain skills in graphics, web design and games development. A workshop facility is also available for practical work in hardware repair and build. Stroud College has two Flexible Learning Centres, one at our main site in Stroud and the other at our Dursley Centre. Our modern Flexible Learning Centres provide an opportunity for everyone who wishes to study IT to do so at a time suitable for them.

Students can work at their own pace in a comfortable, friendly and relaxing environment and our experienced staff are always on hand to provide expert guidance. The Flexible Learning Centres are equipped with modern computers and software and offer a wide range of courses to suit individual circumstances. You can enrol at any time throughout the year and study when it is convenient for you.
