Learning Resource Centre - Stroud Campus
Our state-of-the-art learning resource centre combines traditional library services with outstanding IT facilities, such as internet access, online journals and databases to help you learn.
We provide a quiet working environment for independent study, as well as group study space. Books covering all course subjects are available, as well as fiction, autobiographies, newspapers, magazines, journals, and DVDs.
Within the LRC's at each campus you will find Study Skills Facilitators. These staff members are here specifically to support and guide any student in their learning so that they develop the skills needed for success in an FE or work environment. Study Skills programmes continually evolve to meet the needs of students.
The Study Skills programme is designed to support all learners who do not currently have access to specific support. It does not matter whether you are 16 or 65, working at Entry Level or towards a degree – there will be strategies, tools and techniques to help you on your learning journey.
To access Study Skills support, just contact any member of the LRC team and they will assist you with the first steps.
