This course, designed for qualified practitioners, will help you to work more effectively with clients using various theoretical orientations.
It will give you greater understanding of working with the client relationship, and how cognitive emotional and behavioural methods could apply within the two main relationship models (real and transferential).
We will look at working in the short- and long-term and the different set of skills, techniques and issues that arise. We will also up date on the current accreditation and registration process to meet any future government registration for counsellors. Legal and ethical issues will be covered, and we will consider how to set up an effective business and build a working practice.
Entry requirements are counselling training up to Diploma level meeting BACP requirements or psychotherapy training up to UKCP requirements.
