ECDL Advanced Word Processing is for the individual who uses the Microsoft Word processing application to prepare reports, newsletters and forms and wishes to prove their level of skill.
At the end of the course you will take a skills based exam using a PC. There are 20 tasks for you to complete, which will last one hour. You may not use books, courseware or your own notes during the exam.
You will need to have a good knowledge of Word and have passed a Level 2 Word exam. It will be assumed that you are using Word on a regular basis.
You will be able to study in our Learn IT Centres in Stroud or Dursley at your own convenience and at your own pace, using expertly-produced courseware to help you develop your skills in the various modules with the help and advice of experienced, qualified Trainers

You will receive an ECDL Advanced Word Processing Certificate.
We also offer ECDL Advanced Spreadsheets, Presentation Graphics and Database. If you successfully achieve all dour ECDL Advanced units you may apply for the ECDL Expert certification. You will also be eligible to become an Associate Member of the British Computer Society and entitled to use the letters AMBCS after your name.
