Level 1 Award/Cert IT Users (ITQ) – E-Image Creation Single Unit

This module is suitable for anyone who wants to acquire the IT skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to use publisher.

There is an assessment at the end of the module, this takes place when both yourself and the trainer feel you have acquired the necessary knowledge, and is arranged at a time suitable to you.

The course will be delivered in one of Stroud College’s Learn IT Centres, which are situated in Stroud and Dursley. You will be provided with a learning manual to work through at your own pace. There will be experienced trainers always on hand to assist you if you have any difficulties.

1. Identify and use appropriate application software.
2. Import, crop and resize images.
3. Enter, amend and resize text.
4. Manipulate and format page items.
5. Manage and print artwork.

If you successfully complete this unit you will receive the OCR Level 1 Award/Cert IT Users (ITQ) single module certificate.

This unit naturally contributes towards the whole L1 qualification, which can be achieved by completing further modules. The number of extra units required depends on whether you choose to go for the Award or the Certificate.
