Stroud College - Main SiteSarah Jordan has joined Stroud College as the lead tutor on the new Extended Diploma in Make-Up Artistry. Sarah is extremely well qualified holding a Foundation Degree in Art & Design from Stroud College, an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing and a BA (Hons) in Specialist Make-Up and Costume Design from Worcester University. Sarah has also been trained as an airbrush artist by GreasePaint, a prestigious London based agency for make –up artists.
Sarah has worked successfully as a freelance photographic make-up artist in London, represented by GreasePaint, working on high fashion and glamour models for film and music videos. Sarah has also worked for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Commenting on her background Sarah stated: ”I fell in love with make-up as a child and found I had natural ability so I pursued it. I became highly qualified and worked successfully as a freelance photographic make-up artist. I am now teaching and passionate about passing on my knowledge to help others achieve their goals.”
The Extended Diploma in Make-Up Artistry is an ideal course for anyone wishing to pursue a career in make-up artistry. It takes students right from a beginners level and teaches everything from basic beauty to special effects make-up. The course has been specifically designed to prepare students for a professional industry career as a make-up artist.
