I would highly recommend college over sixth form. I think it is a very different environment and in my experience so much better. It allows you to be independent and find maturity before university. The teachers and people are amazing. It's easy to discover who you are and who you want to be.

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to help me get the interview with Premier Kitchens. It is a fantastic opportunity and my interview was successful today, I really couldn't have done it without you.  When I came to see you two weeks ago, the meeting helped me allot and I’ve learnt so much about myself and how to approach meeting my goals. This is now the start of my journey to a successful career and I won’t let you down.

I really enjoyed the course and have continued to study and work in the field. I wanted to say thank you to the Animal Department at SGS College. If not for them, I may not be where I am now. They are a very good team, always enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the topics, making every lecture interesting and informative. It was the first time I had ever enjoyed doing my coursework! I hope other students are as inspired by this course as I was.

The two students I brought with me from Patchway Community College were over the moon with the way they were looked after while on their interview visit. They were both very happy with the tour of the college prior to their interview as it gave them the opportunity to put any pre-conceived ideas to rest. Both their interviews went well and even though they were very nervous, the staff conducting the interviews made them feel very much at ease. The whole experience for them was a very positive one and both left very happy knowing they had a place at the college in September.

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I have been with the dance sessions being run by your students. The sessions have been well structured and I’ve been very impressed with your students and how they have recognised and responded well individual student needs, being willing to be flexible and adaptable throughout the sessions.  It has been so motivating to watch the students, especially those who appear to lack confidence and self awareness in the classroom to come out of themselves during the sessions.

Just a quick e-mail to let you know how much I enjoyed the performance of ‘Requiem’ that I saw last week.  I know how much commitment, hard work (and even sacrifice!) is demanded by everyone involved into putting together a show of such quality.  Even the performance space itself was used creatively with its covering of earth on the floor lending a tactile and sensory ingredient to the experience. As for the performers themselves, the level of focus involved when working with such an intimate audience was very impressive.  The music, sound, lighting and other effects brought all the performances together into one amazing whole. As you know, after the show I was literally speechless – I could not believe that, despite having some idea of what to expect, I was still surprised, challenged and generally blown away by the quality of the performances.  The show was a worthy final act to an amazing trilogy, that I have been lucky enough to have been part of as a performer and as audience. Congratulations to all involved.

I would like to thank and congratulate your students for the really successful event that took place at the college on Tuesday. It was great to have such a brilliant venue to fall back on. The way the students handled the change of venue and adapted the rules and programme accordingly was a credit to them, with 25 schools taking part it was no mean feat! The students were a credit to the college, please pass on my congratulations and thanks on an extremely well run event.
