Students at Stroud College achieve success in their courses and our success rates continue to increase year on year. Achievement rates on full-time courses for 16-18 year olds and adults exceed the national average. Retention rates are high and continue to improve. In simple terms, these statistics mean that more of our students complete their course and achieve their main qualifications than the national average.
Excellent support
We want you to achieve your potential, so offer a wide range of support from academic tutors, learning mentors, study skills tutors, counsellors and even a college chaplain. The support is there if and when you need it as well as during regular review weeks. At this time your progress will be assessed and extra support offered where required. We want students to become independent learners, and to do this effectively the support of college staff is always there.

Our vocational teaching staff have a wealth of experience and specialist knowledge gained by working in industry. All lecturers follow a programme of professional development designed to keep them up to date with the latest techniques in teaching, learning and industry. Higher than average learner achievement rates don"t happen by accident but are a result of excellent, up-to-date teaching and courses.
